Privacy Policy
Lakefly Productions ("Lakefly," "we," "us," or "our") develops mobile applications and operates this website (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to every mobile app we publish (each an "App"), unless an App presents its own privacy notice, in which case that notice controls for that App.
By using the Site or an App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use them.

1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Contact information, such as your name and email address, when you email us, submit a form, request support, or join a mailing list.
- Account information, such as a username, email address, and profile details, if an App lets you create an account.
- Content you create in an App, such as text, settings, files, or other data you choose to enter or upload.
- Feedback and communications, including bug reports, reviews you send us directly, and your correspondence with us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data: device model, operating system and version, language, app version, time zone, and a randomly generated app or advertising identifier.
- Usage data: features used, screens viewed, session length, and in-app actions.
- Diagnostics: crash logs, error reports, and performance data.
- Approximate location, derived from your IP address. We collect precise device location only if an App clearly needs it and you grant permission through your device settings.
- Site data: IP address, browser type, referring pages, and pages visited, collected through server logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
Information from other sources
If you sign in with a third-party service (for example, Apple or Google), we receive the basic profile information you authorize that service to share. App stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play provide us with aggregated or limited information about downloads, purchases, subscriptions, and crashes. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Permissions
An App may request access to features on your device, such as notifications, camera, photos, microphone, contacts, or location. Each permission is optional unless a feature cannot function without it, and you can change permissions at any time in your device settings.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Apps and Site, and to deliver the features you request.
- To create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and process purchases or subscriptions.
- To respond to questions, provide support, and send service-related notices (such as updates, security alerts, and changes to our terms).
- To monitor performance, fix bugs, and understand how the Apps are used so we can improve them and develop new ones.
- To show advertising, if an App is ad-supported (see Section 4).
- To send news or promotional messages, where permitted by law and subject to your opt-out rights.
- To protect the security and integrity of our Apps, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the App to you), our legitimate interests (security, analytics, and improvement), your consent (for example, optional permissions, marketing, and certain advertising), and compliance with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers that process data on our behalf under contract, such as hosting, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, email delivery, and authentication providers.
- Advertising partners, where an App displays ads. These partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. To the extent this is considered a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising under applicable law, see Section 7 for your opt-out rights.
- Platform providers, such as Apple and Google, when you make purchases or use platform features. Their own privacy policies govern their handling of your data.
- Legal and safety reasons, if we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lakefly, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred to the successor, who must honor this policy or give you notice of changes.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences, and measure traffic. The Apps may use software development kits (SDKs) and identifiers for analytics, crash reporting, and (where applicable) advertising.
- Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Some Site features may not work properly if you do.
- Mobile controls: On iOS, you can manage tracking under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings > Privacy > Ads.
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: Where required by law, we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. Because there is no common standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not otherwise respond to them.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as while your account is active, as needed to provide the App, and as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations or to resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion as described in Section 7.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, such as encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Everyone
- Access, update, or correct information in your account settings (if the App provides them), or contact us.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at the address in Section 12.
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
- Turn off push notifications or revoke device permissions in your device settings.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Indiana, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it, including in a portable format;
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal information;
- Delete personal information we collected from you;
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and profiling in furtherance of decisions with legal or similarly significant effects;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise these rights, email us at the address in Section 12 or use any in-app privacy controls. We will verify your request, which may require confirming details tied to your account, and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days, extendable where permitted). You may authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word "Appeal," and if you remain unsatisfied you may contact your state attorney general. California residents may also request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California's "Shine the Light" law.

We are based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for cross-border transfers.

The Site and Apps may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, services, and SDKs. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read their policies before providing information.
