Content & Production

Fort Wayne content and video.
Built to be found.

Strategy-first content from a team that understands search and storytelling: copywriting, photography, video and social media, planned to rank and convert.

The Problem

Content is everywhere. Content that works isn't.

Most businesses know they need more content. The problem is that most content gets made without a plan, so it doesn't rank, doesn't sell, and doesn't look like the brand.

  • Blog posts get published and never found.
  • Product photos and videos look amateur next to competitors.
  • Social media is inconsistent because no one has time to own it.
  • Writers, photographers, and videographers all work in separate silos.

Great content starts with a strategy, then gets made to a standard.

Why Lakefly

Storytelling skills and search strategy on one team

Most content providers are either creatives who don't understand search or SEO specialists who can't produce compelling creative. Our founder, Jeffrey Pinnow brings both: a degree in film production, hands-on studio and lifestyle photo and video experience, a copywriting background, and deep SEO expertise.

  • Budget sized to your business. We set spend from your margins and what a customer is worth, not a percentage-of-revenue rule or whatever the platform recommends.
  • Strategy before production. Every piece has a purpose, an audience, and a goal.
  • Built to be found. Copy and content architecture shaped by real search data.
  • Scales with your project. From a single product shoot to multi-day productions with a full partner crew.

Plain & Simple Language

Content and production terms, explained

Content and production both come with language that gets used loosely. Here's what we mean by it, and why each one changes what the work costs or returns.

Content architecture.

How your content is organized and linked: which pages exist, what each one is for, and how they connect. Good architecture is why one site ranks for a whole topic while another has forty disconnected blog posts that compete with each other.

Topic clusters.

A central page covering a subject broadly, supported by deeper pages on specific questions, all linked together. It's how you build authority on a topic instead of chasing individual keywords, and it's how AI systems come to recognize what you're actually an expert in.

A+ Content.

Enhanced product page content on Amazon, with modules for images, comparison charts, and brand storytelling below the standard listing details. Walmart has an equivalent on its item pages. It's the difference between a listing that converts the traffic you paid for and one that doesn't.

Pre-production.

Everything decided before a camera turns on: the brief, script, shot list, locations, talent, and schedule. It's the least glamorous part of production and the part that determines whether a shoot day costs what it was quoted. Skipping it is why productions run over.

Usage rights.

What you're permitted to do with finished assets, for how long, and where. Photography, music, and on-camera talent often carry separate terms. Always confirm this before a campaign, because discovering a usage limit after a launch is expensive.

Content decay.

The gradual decline in traffic a page experiences as it ages and competitors publish fresher work. Refreshing existing content that's already ranking is routinely cheaper and faster than writing something new, and it's the first place we look when organic traffic slips.
